Principal’s Message
Welcome to Taylor Career & Technical Center!
Located on Westlake Road in Taylor, we are proud to offer students from across the district the opportunity to explore high-demand careers through dynamic, hands-on learning. From automotive to welding, cybersecurity to culinary arts, marketing to digital multimedia, cosmetology to computer repair, and teacher cadet to health occupations, our 16 state-approved CTE programs are designed to prepare students for college, career, and life success.
Students not only gain valuable technical and academic skills but also earn college credits, industry certifications, and participate in leadership organizations like DECA, BPA, SkillsUSA, National Technical Honor Society, Educators Rising, and JROTC. Our programs are built on four key pillars: classroom instruction, lab-based learning, work-based experiences, and leadership development.
